Nsr1 binding to G4 DNA in vivo requires the RGG domain. ChIP was carried out with an αFlag antibody and chromatin fractions prepared from yeast cells with indicated genetic backgrounds. 5¢BGL and STP primers were previously described and anneal within the LYS2 ORF at ∼100 and ∼3000 bp from the Sμ sequence insertion site, respectively. All values are based on at least six independent samples with the exception of the no-tag samples (N = 3) and the standard deviations are indicated by error bars.
