Rescue of orc6 deletion flies with human Orc6. (A) Mitoses in neuroblasts of orc6 deletion mutant rescued with human Orc6 wild type or with the K23E MGS mutation. Expression of transgenes was driven with either native orc6 promoter (np >) or with strong constitutive tubulin promoter (tub >). (B) Immunoprecipitation of the ORC complex with anti-Orc2 antibodies from ovaries expressing GFP-tagged Orc6 transgenes.
