Note: Projected reductions in systolic blood pressure were calculated using the midpoint for each age range or 78 years for the ≥70-year-old group. Although policy effects are estimated for persons aged ≥35 years, sodium reduction calculations were calculated for persons aged ≥30 years to with how What We Eat in America14 reported sodium consumption by age.
