(A) Serum lipoprotein profile (n = 4 per group) following a 4-hour fast and fractionation by fast protein liquid chromatography. TG and cholesterol levels were biochemically determined. Bottom panel: Electron microscopy of serum VLDL particles isolated from pooled serum, 4 hours after Pluronic F-127 injection. Scale bars: 500 nm. Unpaired Student’s t test was used to determine significance between groups. Size distribution of VLDL particles is representative of 3 separate evaluations, **P < 0.01.
