Test statistics: independent sample t-tests comparing males and females. Applying the Bonferroni correction, significance was assumed based on a corrected alpha of (≤0.01) for each tool. EDE-Q, eating disorder examination questionnaire; EDE, eating disorder examination (Fairburn and Beglin, 1994). For behavioral items, data refer to the mean frequency in the previous 28 days period.
