Estimated sample sizes for statistical designs to reach a power of 0.8 and α of 0.05 in three white matter tracts for a Group (2) x Time Point (2) ANOVA. Pearson correlations between all 5 sessions were averaged by transformation to Fischer's Z (Fisher, 1915) to obtain an average correlation among repeated coefficients for each metric (Table 1). Correlation coefficients were used to estimate required sample sizes for each metric.
