We examined TE expression profiles using RNA-seq of total RNA from ovaries in an nxf2 knockdown versus a control knockdown of the white gene. We found that a variety of TEs show increased expression in the nxf2 knockdown (see S6 Fig for all TEs); however, the 3 telomeric HTT elements (red bars) are among the top 10 most highly up-regulated TEs.
