Diagnostic discordant case: left frontal GBM (case n. 6). Taken together, these features set out the diagnosis of GBM. In this specific case, the discordant results for both tumor diagnosis and morphological categorization at central core were due to a larger field of observation with the optical microscope used at the permanent section examination.
