Bland Altman scatter plots of the unnormalized thalamus volume measurements of the MS patients. The difference of two paired measurements [(automated–manual) / average] was plotted against the average of the two measurements [(automated + manual) / 2]. Except for CAT12, a proportional bias was observed between the automated and manual thalamus volume measurements, indicated by a trend [linear regression (Pearson rho (ρ))] to high and low values of the difference across the range of values of the average.
