Presenting signs and symptoms of refugee children and young people to emergency care facilities. Respondents were asked if signs and symptoms were seen more or less commonly in refugee children and young people in comparison with the local population (on a 5-point Likert scale). Metabolic disorders: such as exacerbated type I Diabetes Mellitus, including ketoacidosis; musculoskeletal problems: non-traumatic, for example, limp, joint swelling, back pain; referral for routine screening: referral by other healthcare professional.
