Figure 6. — Mice were fasted for 6 hours. Blood was drawn from mice by making a small cut in the tail after anesthesia and centrifuged for 10 minutes at 2000x g. The sera was collected and stored at −80° until processed. The sera were analyzed for leptin using the mouse/rat leptin enzyme immunoassay kit from SPI BIO (Montigny le Bretonneux, France) according to manufacturer’s procedures. * p ≤ 0.05, **p ≤ 0.01, statistically significant from WT control. N=8–10 mice.
