Recent fracture or severe contusion of the lower extremities, back or shoulders (in consultation with medical doctor) |
Able to walk without a walking aid for ≥15 min |
Any disease or disorder that may influence the safety of training (e.g. severe cardiopulmonary disease) |
Recently having experienced a fall (≤3 months ago) |
Falls caused by actions of third parties or during exercise activities |
Having visited the MUMC+ outpatient clinic after their fall incident |
Uncorrected vision problems |

Use of medication known to increase fall risk (antidepressants, benzodiazepines, sedatives, hypnotics, antipsychotics) [44] |
