Open field testing on Pidd1 KO mice (n = 9) and WT littermates (n = 10), as performed on 3-month-old male mice, measuring the time spent in the center of the field, the number of visits to the center of the field, and the total distance traveled by the mice during the testing perion. The Mann–Whitney U test was performed, and the asterisk indicates statistical significance (p < 0.05). Other tests performed for which results did not reach statistical significance are provided in Supplementary Fig. 5.
