The top-performing centroids resulting from the data analytic team’s novel feature selection method were the three-component centroids composed of ADOS-2 codes a2, b1, and b5. In much the same way that a k-nearest neighbors classifier predicts class association, our method defines a feature based on a measure of proximity to clusters that may reveal class association
