Mediator levels on the connective tissues of the thoracolumbar region per group are represented by median and interquartile interval (Q3–Q1). Kruskal–Wallis with Dunn post hoc was used for statistical analysis for all variables. *There was significant (p < 0.05) difference for TGF-β1, IL-4, Ly-6G, and NOS-2. Differences were found between saline vs. Car + MFS (*p = 0.047) for TGF-β1; saline vs. Car + MFS (*p = 0.026) for IL-4; Car vs. saline + MFS (**p = 0.003) and saline + MFS vs. Car + MFS (*p = 0.0337) for Ly-6G; saline vs. Car + MFS (*p = 0.0337) and saline + MFS vs. Car + MFS (*p = 0.0195) for NOS-2.
