(b,c) The WT, hap1∆, snf1∆ and msn2∆ strains were grown in YEP medium containing 2% glucose, 2% glycerol or 2% ethanol to the exponential phase (OD₆₀₀ of 0.5). Relative TIF51A (b) and SDH1 (c) mRNA levels were determined. The results are shown as the means ± SD of three independent experiments and expressed in relation to the value for the 2% glucose condition.
