Iron deficiency down-regulates TIF51A and up-regulates TIF51B in a Hap1-dependent manner. (a) The WT cells were grown in SC medium with the addition of 100 mM BPS and samples were collected at the indicated time points. The relative TIF51A and TIF51B mRNA levels were determined. The results are expressed in relation to the value at time 0. (bd) The WT, hap1∆ and hap4∆ strains were grown in SC medium with or without the addition of 100 mM BPS for 7 h. The relative TIF51A (b), CYC1 (c) and TIF51B (d) mRNA levels were determined. The results are expressed in relation to the value of the WT strain without treatment.
