Figure 2.
Changes in leukocyte adhesion and RBC velocity. Left: The adhesion of leukocytes onto the mesenteric vascular endothelium increased over time after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) administration in the control group, and the incidence of adherent leukocytes was significantly reduced in the high-dose AT-γ (novel antithrombin) group at 1, 3 and 6 h (n = 7 in each group). Right: The red blood cell (RBC) velocity in the mesenteric venule gradually decreased until 6 h after lipopolysaccharide administration. The velocity was significantly better maintained in the high-dose AT-γ group at 6 h. * p < 0.05, compared with the control group, # p < 0.05, compared with the low-dose group.
