Effects of XCL1 on the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and -9 in MDA-MB-231 cells: MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of XCL1 for 24 h. Control cells were treated with serum-free media instead. Western blotting analyses were performed using anti-MMP-2 (A) and anti-MMP-9 antibodies (B), as described in the Materials and Methods section. The expressions of MMP-2 and -9 were normalized to that of β-actin. Representative blots are shown. The data are displayed as the mean ± SEM from at least three independent experiments.
