The free binding energy of all the three conserved T-cell epitopes RLFRKSNLK, IPTNFTISV and HADQLTPTW bound with the HLA-C*12:03 were determined using AutoDOCK Vina tool in PyRx according to the equation: Free energy of binding = Intermol energy + Internal energy + Torsional energy-Unbound energy. The energy values calculated for binding of the epitopes RLFRKSNLK (A) IPTNFTISV (B) and HADQLTPTW (C) to the binding groove of the HLA-C*12:03 were ΔG = -10.9, −10.5 and −7.3 kcal/mol respectively.
