Detection and quantification of n- and iso-butyryl-CoA in 293T cells using LC–MS/MS. (A) Control experiments showing that n- and iso-butyryl-CoA were separated with the LC–MS/MS system with the retention times at 14.06 and 13.86 min and were detected at the same ion transition 810 → 313. (B) n- and iso-Butyryl-CoA from the 293T cell extracts were detected under the same LC–MS/MS condition. Their levels were compared by using the integrated chromatographic peak areas.
