As expected, controls outperformed dyslexics on all measures. Efficiency Index = (A × 180)/RT, where A stands for Accuracy and is the number of words correctly read (including self-corrections), 180 is the maximum time (in seconds) allowed for the test, and RT is the reading time. Accuracy Index: (A/NWR) × 100, where A stands for Accuracy, and NWR is the number of words read.
