Schematic representation of the mode of action of VIVEMA TWIN. The biostimulant, applied by fertigation in the soil, leads to an increase of the NDVI index in the leaves and to a better root system development in tomato plants grown under salt stress conditions. RNA-Seq analysis on the treated roots revealed the upregulation of genes involved in root growth and salt stress response and the downregulation of genes linked to phosphate starvation, indicating that this biostimulant enhances the nutrient uptake of tomato roots.
