The TRF analysis. The TRF analysis was used to measure telomere length in the fat bodies of bees collected during winter (December-January) and summer (June-July). The DNA samples were digested with RsaI/Hinf I mixture, resolved on 1% agarose gel using pulsed field electrophoresis and visualized using Southern hybridization.
