In the 1σ range, not all dates have an equal probability, as there are two peaks (1625–1600 with 62.5% out of the 68.2%; and 1574–1567 with only 5.8%). The 2σ range adds only one year to the beginning of the probable date range compared to 1σ, however, it adds another 21 years to the end of the range, which has a much lower probability than the pre-1600 range. Presenting the date range without specific probability information might be misleading. We therefore present date ranges which include probabilities of all included date ranges.
