Notch target gene expression is elevated in NOTCH1-mutated DLBCLs and not in NOTCH2-mutated or BN2 DLBCLs. Three hundred nine DLBCLs with RNA-seq data were sorted into (A) NOTCH1-mutated (mN1, N = 7), NOTCH2-mutated (mN2, N = 9), and Notch wild-type (WT, N = 293) subgroups, or (B) N1, BN2, and “other” subgroups, and then compared for expression of Notch target genes using Notch-sensitive genes identified in follicular lymphoma (FL), MCL, and CLL. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to evaluate gene expression in Notch-mutated and Notch wild-type tumors, whereas the Mann-Whitney U test was used to do pairwise evaluations of gene expression across all 3 DLBCL subgroups.
