Candida glabrata trehalase survival inside macrophages. Differentiated human macrophages were infected with the indicated C. glabrata strain at multiplicity of infection (MOI) 1:1, after which the cells were plated for CFU counting at the indicated days (b-d). Additionally, at 3 hours post infection, also the uptake of each strain was counted (a). Average survival relative to the wild type strain is shown with SEM of minimal three experiments, statistical Kruskal-Wallis test was performed with Dunn’s correction (*, P ≤ 0,05; **, P ≤ 0,01; *** P ≤ 0,001 and ****, P ≤ 0,0001), comparing the survival of all strains to wild type
