MaR1 increased Aβ₄₂‐uptake in human MdM. Human monocyte‐derived microglia (MdM) were incubated with 1 μg/mL HiLyteFluor 488‐conjugated Aβ₄₂ alone or together with 5 μM MaR1 for 90 min. Aβ₄₂ uptake was assessed by flow cytometry. Co‐incubation with MaR1 significantly increased the uptake of Aβ₄₂. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed with the Kruskal–Wallis (K‐W) test followed by pair‐wise comparisons of groups using Mann‐Withney with Bonferroni correction for multiple comparisons. *P < 0.05 vs. vehicle. # P < 0.05 vs. 5 μM Aβ₄₂.
