Mice were inoculated intranasally with 50 μL (1 × 10⁸ conidia/mL) of A. fumigatus spore suspension in IPA group and immunocompetent/exposed group. The groups of control received 50 μL of phosphate buffer saline (PBS). Tissue samples were collected from four mice per group on day 3 post-infection. Fungal burden in mice was measured 3 day after infection. Fungal burden was expressed as log10 CFU/g of tissue
