Experimental design. Two Social Implicit Association Test (SIAT) variants were employed: one for emotion evaluation and one for gender evaluation. Both SIATs consisted of five phases, in close analogy to the original IAT by Greenwald et al. (1998). To avoid sequential effects of auditory and visual evaluation phases, four parallel versions were employed for each of the SIATs (emotion/gender).
