Luteolin induces cell cycle arrest in HeLa cells in sub-G1 phases. (A) DNA contents were analyzed by flow cytometry following treatment with different concentrations of luteolin (0, 5, 10 and 20 µM) for 48 h. (B) Percentage of cells in the G0/G1, S and G2/M phases of the cell cycle are compared between the 5, 10, 20 µM treated HeLa cells and dimethyl sulfoxide control cells. The results are presented as the mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments *P<0.05.
