Filaments of different sizes ranging from 0.008 g to 6 g were used to measure neuropathic pain, or “headache.” Threshold is the largest filament size that elicited 3 consecutive withdrawal responses from rats. Pain Score indicated sum of all responses up to and including threshold. Responsive indicated proportion of responses ≥2 compared to all responses. Bold font indicates significance.
