BEAST2-inferred Portiera phylogenetic tree (chronogram) based on two rRNA genes (16S and 23S) (2G-based tree). The sequences were generated in this work and in Thao and Baumann (2004). Colored branches highlight the four major clades in the Aleyrodinae subfamily. Branch lengths are displayed in million years. Period, Epoch, and Age are according to the geological time scale standards. Chromohalobacter salexigens DSM3043 was used as outgroup but is not displayed for plotting reasons.
