Inhibitory effect of isookanin on LPS-induced tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) production in THP-1 cells. Cells were pretreated with the indicated concentrations of isookanin for 2 h, before incubation with LPS (5 ng/mL) for 24 h. The levels of (A) TNF-α, (B) IL-1β, (C) IL-6, and (D) IL-8 in the culture medium were measured by an ELISA kit.
