Confocal microscopy images of living Candida albicans cells treated for 15 min with the fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled Ab gene-peptide L12P (A). The peptide was on the yeast cell surface and entered into yeast cells within a few minutes; empty vacuoles were seen.
