Compression ratio vs. PRD for each data compression pipeline evaluated: (a) Direct data compression (DDC) + Huffman encoding (HE), (b) singular value decomposition (SVD) + HE, (c) discrete cosine transform (DCT)-based discrete orthogonal Stockwell transform (DCT-DOST) + HE, (d) DCT-DOST + run-length encoding (RLE), (e–g) biorthogonal discrete wavelet transformation (BD-WT) + HE.
