In this figure we illustrate the effect of t in the pooling function on the saliency maps. From left to right: the mammogram with ground truth segmentation and the saliency map generated using GMP, top 3% pooling, top 10% pooling, top 20% pooling, and GAP. The corresponding DSC is specified below each saliency map. A benign lesion is found in the top two examples. A malignant lesion is found in the bottom two examples.
