KEMCT-evoked changes in blood R-βHB and glucose levels in female and male WAG/Rij rats. KEMCT administration (gavage, 2.5 g/kg, once per month) significantly elevated the blood R-βHB levels (A,B) and decreased blood glucose levels (C,D) compared with the control in both female and male rats.
