Dose–response curves for determination of half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) for TSCs 1–12 and control compounds (benzaldehyde TSC, acetophenone TSC, and kojic acid) toward mushroom tyrosinase. The concentration of l-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (l-DOPA) was 1 mM in all the cases. Inhibitor concentration was in the range of 0.01 to 600 µM.
