In-house multiplex real-time PCR was used for detection of respiratory bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Normal on chest CT is defined as normal postoperative changes, excluding any signs of fibrosis or infection. FVC=forced vital capacity. HCO₃^–=bicarbonate.
