ESEM images taken at the coronal (a), medium (b) and apical (c) portion after 28 days immersion in HBSS. A homogeneous mineral layer was present on all of the implant surface. One random area taken at the implant collar was progressively observed at 500× (d), 1000× (e) and 2000× (f) original magnifications.
