Caspase-1/IL-1β promoted apoptosis and inhibited membrane transport of GluA1 in Aβ1-42-induced hippocampal neurones. Hippocampal neurones were treated with Aβ1-42 oligomer (10 μmol/L) for 24 h, and then treated with IL-1β (10 μg/L) or AC-YVAD-CMK (10 μmol/L) for 24 h.
