Beads are incubated with deprotection reagent mix for 1 to 3 h (depending on amino acid composition). The deprotected and cleaved amino acids from the inner core are then pushed into individual tubes using the U-Block reactor attached to the transfer head for downstream mass spectrometry (The transfer head allows the transfer from each individual reaction vessel to individual tube).
