p<0.1. “No Father” and “Other Father” refer to living arrangements at baseline survey (1997). “Number of Grades Completed” ranges from 6th grades to 8th year college (20th grades). “Categorical Educational Attainment” is a discrete measure ranging from 1=less than high school to 4=college or higher degree. Mothers characteristics include education and mother’s age when the first child in the household and the respondent was/were born. All models include birth cohort. All models are weighted by round 17 sample weights.
