G0 = fasting glucose levels (mmol/L); I0 = fasting insulin levels (μU/ml); HOMA-IR = Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance (μU·mmol) / (ml·L). Adult female rats (n = 8–9 per group) were treated with five separate doses of risperidone, paliperidone or vehicle. Values are group means ± SEM. Measurement occurred at t = 30 min of the intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test.
