Stiffness was defined as total range of motion between passive forward flexion and abducted external rotation ≤ 220°. The sample exclusion criteria were as follows: revision rotator cuff repair, history of labral repair, non-adherence to the postoperative protocol, and stiffness recurrence without resolution at final follow-up.
