Inhibitory effects of miR-101 on TGF-β1-induced cell migration and invasion are executed by TGF-βR1 in OSCC cells. SCC-9 and Tca8113 cells were transfected with miR-NC, miR-101, or miR-101 + TGF-βR1-expressing plasmid in the absence or presence of TGF-β1. (A) Migration assay was performed to assess cell motility. (B) Migrated cells in (A) were measured. (C) Cell invasion was evaluated by Transwell assays. (D) The numbers of invaded cells in (C) were calculated.
