SMC elastic fibers (green) were revealed after ASC-SF stimulation (B), when compared to both No Treatment (A, NT) and Non-Conditioned Media (C, NCM) negative controls, in sample images of z-stacked confocal images of 30-day discs. Note that cellularity (nuclear stain, blue) is similar among groups. Separate discs were then analyzed by multiphoton microscopy using a Zeiss Plan-Apochromat 20× objective.
