*In the 14 days before death, none of the donors had known contact with someone who had been sick with or received a diagnosis of coronavirus disease, had traveled, or had reported nosocomial transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in the donor hospital. None of the donors experienced symptoms consistent with COVID-19, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
