Circulating levels of total free fatty acids and their metabolic intermediaries is increased by prostate-specific transgenic expression of Myc in Hi-Myc mice. Levels of acetyl-CoA, malonyl-CoA, total free fatty acids, total phospholipids, total cholesterol, and lactate in the plasma of Hi-Myc mice and age-matched wild-type (WT) mice.
